New Website Launch: TFM ELD – Transport Control and Monitoring System
It‘s time to tell you about our latest achievement – a new website our team has created. This is a new development, and we have worked meticulously over it for quite a while to make sure that our client, TFM ELD, is completely happy with the result. In the end, not only is our customer satisfied – we are also delighted to present our brand new product.
TFM, based in Chicago and registered with The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), works with international freight forwarding, logistics sector, agricultural sector, passenger, and other branches of transportation.
TFM provides certified electronic logging devices (ELD) solutions to offer truck drivers and companies of any size a plain and trustworthy HOS (hours of service) logging and tracking tool. It is intended to help create a safer work environment for drivers, and make it easier and faster to accurately track, manage, and share records of the driver‘s duty status. In recent years, the TFM ELD system has been growing more and more advanced and widely used in the U.S.
The FMCSA obligates the logs to be current through the last duty status change, so you can imagine how much anyone working with truck drivers is in need of the kind of products TFM provides.
Moreover, in 2017, the FMCSA kicked-off the new ELD mandate to stipulate that by 2019, all commercial motor carriers must switch from paper logs to electronic logging devices. This basically means that TFM offers a reliable and fairly priced solution that all trucking companies now need to meet the requirements.
From the quick overview of the client, let‘s move to our task: building a website. As the company‘s range of services is quite wide, our biggest challenge was to create a website that would feature a multitude of solutions offered by TFM ELD without overwhelming the visitor. In the end, we’ve built a website around what matters the most to the client: Solutions and Products.
We‘ve kept the design clean and simple, as people working in transportation have to deal with a lot of information anyway so that eye-catching features would not distract their attention. The website features a fully responsive custom design, custom Content Management System and integrates easily with the TFM Application.
We all know too well that time is money, especially if you work in the communication sector, so the speed of functioning is of key importance here. We are especially proud to note that the TFM website is it’s lightning-fast – since it’s a custom website built without using any third-party content publishing systems like WordPress. The website has no need to load bloated WordPress scripts – the code features only what is needed, precisely. No less, no more.
Conclusively, we have managed to organize a lot of detailed information on the website into a minimalistic, harmoniously-functioning, plain, and simple product. It has no visual irritants and is easy to navigate for someone who is already processing a lot of information on transport, drivers and their needs.
We are truly delighted to have helped TFM to further improve the quality of their services – and having achieved another excellent goal in our own professional growth.
